Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known by her stage name of Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer from Washington, D.C., who was the first woman to be signed to J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. Her first single was released with the label on October 21 of 2016, entitled Pho, and she was able to begin gaining attention. Shea Butter Baby, her first album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox began uploading her music to the Internet in 2012, when she released her debut mixtape Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in the year 2013. She continued to upload her music on the internet in 2014, including the independently-released single Bound. She appeared in Omen's Elephant Eyes, at Sweat It out on July 21, 2015.
